I really like the ripple effect. Makes for a fun challenge and a twist on the basic game. The paddle control seems a bit delay. I think it has something to do with the momentum, I think it charges up when you first click the buttons so it feels like there's a delay between the click and the action. A slightly higher start to the speed might fix that. Great work!
