I haven't even played through more than 5 minutes of the game yet, but, F for dash? Really? It's so out of place for WASD controls(I'm used to playing WASD). Also it is way too slippery when you stop moving. I'll come back once i've played more of the game, though.

I have finally played your game and here is below the gameplay review video for your game. Hope this will help out and I will post some notes as well, however the video contains more than I can write, so make sure to watch it for more details. Also, it will be great if you joined me up on my YouTube channel, it keeps me going and doing these reviews over here.

  • The game is really cool to play and it has adventure and a story inside, which what impressed me the most.
  • I gotta be honest about the jump section! It feels like it goes down by gravity too fast, I have suffered a lot to get used to it but still got me by the end and could not finish the entire game.
  • There are certain hints that take time even after clicking to take it off-screen.

The original video was about an hour long but I had to edit it a lot to take off the death runs! I hope this helps out for real.

The controls don't feel precise enough to make the gameplay or exploration as fun as it could be. It's too easy to walk into enemy sprites and take damage instead of hitting them, while the Paladin's dash felt very hard to trigger at the apex of his jump, and it seemed like the length of the dash varied depending on how long I held down the button. All of which makes the game a bit painful to navigate.

I'd also clear the messages off the screen more quickly, or at least give the player the ability to instantly dismiss them.

Loved the game! Was a lot of fun, going to try and get even further in my own time. Keep up the amazing work!
